With more than 130 years of clinical experience, the speech pathologists at Waldo County General Hospital are well known for family focused therapy, efficiency and teamwork. Speech therapy, parent and teacher coaching, evaluations and consultations are all provided using the most effective approaches and best practices. We routinely ask for feedback from parents and providers about our work.

All therapists have completed national-qualifying examinations, are nationally-certified and are well known for quality speech therapy. The speech pathologists have developed innovative and effective approaches working with children and families. They are routinely invited to share their techniques at national and regional conferences. 

When your child is referred, our speech therapists meet to discuss your child's needs and select the best therapist to provide those services. Our skilled therapists routinely work together to share their skills to achieve the best quality therapy.

CoachingAt our center, services are provided in a family-friendly environment. Each therapy and learning area is equipped with state of the art materials and technology.

Therapy services are also provided at area preschools, public schools and other locations.

Videotaping of sessions is available, offering parents additional opportunities to review a session at home to learn about the best approaches to help facilitate child development.

Our team meets every week to review the most current therapy techniques and research results. This helps each therapist stay current with the most effective methods to help you and your child. It is our goal to offer relevant, evidence-based and effective interventions.
